19 years later, here at the Women’s Foundation of Arkansas, we continue to stand on the shoulders of the women who have come before us. In 1998, 100 women saw a gap in the Arkansas community and provided resources to work toward a solution.
Thank you to the countless Founders, Board members, Volunteers, Sponsors, and Donors from the past, present and future for the hard work and dedication you have to improving the lives of girls and women in our state.
It is because of you that girls are finding passion in STEM, women are attending and graduating college at a higher rate, women are connecting and building relationships, women are mentoring younger women, the list goes on and on…
The Women’s Foundation of Arkansas has done incredible work in our 19 years of existence and we will not stop anytime soon. We could not be more excited and passionate about this upcoming year, and this year, we want to focus on engaging in past, present, and future supporters. If you are a founder, a past board member, volunteer, sponsor, donor, staff member, etc.,– please reach out to us! We want to hear from you. We want to share with you our plans for the future on how to improve the lives of girls and women in our state.
We are determined in our goal of engaging our community to promote women and girls in Arkansas so they can realize their full potential. We have come a long way, yet there is still work to do. We promise to be the vehicle for positive change for women and girls in Arkansas and ultimately create a state in which Arkansas women have the voices and choices of how to invest in themselves and their communities.
We thank you again for the years of dedication, love, and support. We wouldn’t be here without all of you.
Happy Founders Day, WFA!
