Grants

Grant Opportunities:

At the Women’s Foundation of Arkansas, our mission is to ensure economic security for Arkansas women and girls through collaboration and focused philanthropic investment. Through grant making, research, and our Girls of Promise® and Women Empowered initiatives, the Women’s Foundation of Arkansas is investing in real solutions that allow women and girls to move up the economic ladder and reach their full potential. We envision a state in which women achieve economic equity and security, use their voices, have choices, and have opportunities to participate in their communities.

The WFA is the only statewide foundation that focuses solely on economic security of women and girls in Arkansas. WFA has a particular interest in supporting underserved and marginalized communities.

The WFA encourages inquiries for funding that:

  • Expressly supports economic security and mobility for women and girls in Arkansas
  • Support direct service projects and programs

  • Supports STEAM programs for girls

The WFA does not have grant opportunities available at this time, but future opportunities will be shared on our social media channels and in our monthly e-newsletters. Please follow us on Facebook, on Instagram, and sign up to receive the WFA e-newsletter for information about future funding opportunities.

About WFA’s initiatives:

Through the Women Empowered Initiative, the WFA educates, advocates, and innovates around issues of women’s economic security. The organization is focused on helping women build assets, helping female business owners access capital, and closing the wealth gap.

WFA’s Girls of Promise® initiative introduces girls to opportunities and mentors in STEAM fields (science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics) with the goal of increasing the number of women in higher-level STEAM courses and careers, ultimately putting them on the path to better paying jobs and increased economic security.
