AmeriCorps VISTA Openings


Marketing VISTA:

The AmeriCorps VISTA member will be responsible for planning, managing, and executing social media strategies for our various programs and initiatives. Working closely with the WFA Operations and Communications Manager, the VISTA will work with all departments to develop social media strategies for individual campaigns. VISTA will learn WFA brand standards in order to create graphics and promotional materials for dissemination on WFA various digital platforms. VISTA will be given creative license to think outside of the box on how to amplify the voices of women and girls we hope to serve. VISTA Member will become a critical member of the small team that works to create economic security for women and girls in Arkansas.


Impact VISTA:

The AmeriCorps VISTA member will be responsible for building out and managing our digital grant application system, and work closely with grantees and volunteers on statewide impact. Working closely with the WFA Director of Development, the VISTA will research and apply for grants benefitting the WFA. VISTA member will work with all departments implement and grow efforts to grow the WFA impact across the state. VISTA will be assigned special projects to manage that fall cross department collaborations. VISTA Member will become a critical member of the small team that works to create economic security for women and girls in Arkansas.


Initiative VISTA:

The AmeriCorps VISTA member will be assigned project management responsibility for specific programs and initiatives that fall under our two major initiatives, Women Empowered and Girls of Promise. Working closely with the WFA Director of Programs and Initiatives, the VISTA will work to ensure program impact and evaluation standards are met. VISTA will have unique opportunity to lead high profile projects from start to finish, and be given opportunity to innovate new programs that align to the organizational strategic plan. VISTA Member will become a critical member of the small team that works to create economic security for women and girls in Arkansas.
