Funding Resources for Small Businesses
Arkansas 30 Day Fund
The Arkansas 30 Day Fund is a non-profit which provides forgivable loans for Arkansas- based small businesses. The forgivable loan is intended to provide immediate financial assistance to meet payroll, preserve healthcare coverage for employees, and save jobs while they await recently approved federal and state funding.
City of Little Rock’s Small Business Emergency Assistance Program
Up to $5,000 forgivable loans for operational fixed costs (no construction projects or purchasing of equipment) with 0% interest rate, no payments within the first year and if jobs created/retained still exist after one year, the loan is forgiven upon verification.
Eligibility: Small, for-profit businesses (sole proprietorships, corporations, or limited liability Corporations) that have been in business more than two (2) years and have twenty (20) or fewer employees. Or, applicants must be a for-profit micro-enterprise business with five employees or less including the owner AND owner the must earn a household annual income to or less than 80% of the area median income. Must have documentable business income loss, including business income comparisons and narrative description of impacts.
iFund Women COVID-19 Relief Fund
The IFW COVID-19 Relief Fund provides microgrants to women-owned businesses that are being impacted by this crisis. You must start a crowdfunding campaign on IFW to be considered to receive a grant!
LISC Verizon Small Business Recovery Fund
Provide grants of up to $10,000 to businesses facing immediate financial pressure because of Covid-19—especially entrepreneurs of color, women-owned businesses and other enterprises in historically underserved communities who don’t have access to flexible, affordable capital. Can be used to pay rent & utilities, meet payroll, pay outstanding debt to vendors, other immediate operational costs. Applications are currently closed & will reopen on May 14th.
Hello Alice All Emergency Grant
Hello Alice is offering $10,000 grants being distributed immediately to small business owners impacted by coronavirus, as part of our broader mission to ensure Business for All. In addition to funding, grant recipients will receive ongoing support from the Hello Alice community.
The Doonie Fund
Created by Kathryn Finney, Founder & CEO of Digital Undivided, this small fund will give $100 support to 100 Black women who are building businesses to use in whatever way they need to use it.
The Red Backpack Fund
The Spanx by Sara Blakely Foundation donated $5 million to support female entrepreneurs in the wake of COVID-19 and teamed up with GlobalGiving to establish the Red Backpack Fund. GlobalGiving will be overseeing the fund, making 1,000 grants of $5,000 each to female entrepreneurs in the U.S. to help alleviate the immediate needs and support the long-term recovery of those impacted by the COVID-19 crisis. Applications are closed & will reopen in May.
Tory Burch Foundation Capital Program
The Tory Burch Foundation Capital Program powered by Bank of America provides women entrepreneurs in the United States the opportunity to access affordable loans through Community Lenders. The program is designed for women entrepreneurs with a sustainable business, a satisfactory credit rating, at least two years in business and generating revenue, and a passion for growth.
Your Friends in New York Business Relief Fund
The Your Friends in New York Business Relief Fund was established for women and minority businesses negatively impacted by COVID-19 and is awarding grants of different amounts to business owners in need.
